The 2023 Riviera Ligure di Ponente Pigato by Maixei shows a pale lemon color with hints of green on the edges. Primary aromas of lemon, grapefruit and lemon peel are supported by a light herbal note suggesting fennel. 

On the palate, the Pigato is light-bodied with bright acidity, carrying through the citrus flavors, with some minerality, probably representing the coast of Liguria. The finish is crisp.
